June 19, 2010 marks the 60th Annual San Francisco Juneteenth Festival, the largest gathering of African Americans in Northern California. It is the most respected brand name among the more than 440,000 black households in the Bay Area because of the historical significance of the observance and the traditions that have been developed locally.

The A. Philip Randolph San Francisco Chapter would like thank the SF Juneteenth Committee with a special thank you to Mr. Louis L. Garrett, Kevin Jefferson and all of the SF Juneteenth staff and volunteers. We would also like to thank the members of the SEIU Local 1021, Afram and the SEJ. And last but definantly not least, we would like to show our appreciation to our APRISF members, staff and volunteers: Delores Tutson, Christina Gosolvez, Leesha Langlois, Doretha Evans, Dedria Smith, Drerrick Simpson, Harlon Meeks, APRISF Executive Director Gregory Reed, Janice Reed and everyone who helped make our participation in the Juneteenth Festival a success.
